You may not always end up where you are going. But you’ll always end up where you are meant to be.
Hello, my name is Lindsey, I hail from the beautiful town of Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire originally, but as of 2016 I now own a home with my fiancé – we’ll call him C! But I haven’t moved very far from the original stomping ground.
I am under thirty but over the quarter century hurdle – though I am not that bothered by age – however a lady never tells (apparently). I work in the charity sector and have worked in a variety of charities that cater to different causes and beliefs. I studied history and culture at university (BA & MA respectively). I love exploring museums and heritage sites, going to the theatre, music concerts, reading books and visiting new places. Overall I like to look on the brighter side of life.
In 2016 I was also newly diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, a chronic illness that I am still getting my head around and the impact it can, and does have on my health at times. But I am determined not to be defined by my disease and live as much and as normally as possible.
The main purpose of this blog is to share a little corner of me, my life, my health and lifestyle choices and what I am getting up to and what is interesting me along the way. I hope you enjoy the journey.
